The BBC and others are reporting that 'Chemical Ali' has been captured.

    Again...? didn't he get caught already ... really you can't just let people go and then go and catch them again 5 minutes later just for the press coverage.



    The other thing that strikes me is that none of these Iraqi fugitive types have shaved their moustaches off. surely thats page 1 in the disguise handbook.

    Chemical Ali was reported to have been killed several months ago..

    But this time they US forces are sure its him..coz they asked him......

    And I thought Ahnold running in California was it. How quickly we tire of one repetition to have it substituted with another. Oh, well, "We got Chemical Ali!" it is.



    Who knows, maybe Uday and Qusai aren't dead either?



    Then again, whatever happened to that "mastermind" bin Laden? Or am I so not-with-the times and he is yesterday's bagels? Ain't he the reason we got into all of this?

    What do we have here? A desperate attempt by the occupation forces to salvage a tiny bit of positive news from the chaos and destruction? Or yet more incompetence? Or deliberate lies? Or just yet another distraction?
