Problems mounting disks/flash

My Pismo PB recently stopped mounting PC-formatted zip disks. Today I tried a new USB flash drive, and it also failed to mount (wanted to format it). Access PC was coming up with the message, so I disabled it off in the Extensions Manager. Now everything "non-Mac" wants to be formatted.

I recall being able to mount disks seemlessly before. Is something wrong/disabled?

Thanks,

George

Check to see that anything with "Iomega" in the name is in your Extensions folder (instead of disabled) fo the ZIP.

Access PC... sounds vaguely familiar... can you give more detail? Was that the only control panel you disabled?
