a quick ABC in OSX networking.
I'm a quite experienced mac-user, but have really never gotten into the network stuff.
Could someone with some good network knowledge please give me a quick tour of the pros and cons of OSX networking?
Can you do all the same things as with windows? Work of the server and login with your own identity on any random machine within the network. Can applications be shared? What the hell is net-boot anyway? etc.
