Epson 1520

I recently went from OS 8.6 to OS 9.1 on my Powermac G3. My Epson 1520 (4 years old) now will not print and displays the "paper out" light right after it goes through the startup routine. There is paper in the tray. I installed the latest Epson driver even though there did not appear to be any difference between that driver and the one that worked fine in 8.6. I don't know if it's software or a mechanical problem with the printer.

    I don't think there is a problem with the software if Epson has a driver for 9. I'd email epson and tell them of your problem. It very well could be a driver problem. otherwise the if it' snot the software, it's the hardware, either the printer or cable.
