Best place to find Mac shareware / freeware?

Hey all!



As a (very!) recent convert to the Macintosh world, I'm curious as to the best sites to find shareware and freeware for OS X? I know Tucows has a spattering, as does download.com, but are there any Mac-specific sites?



I'm also curious about this, as I intend to start porting some of the PC-only freeware apps I've written over the last couple of years, and would like to know the best distribution channels for them.

I, and most others, mainly use the top two, though it might be a nice thing to promote yourself with Apple.

you may also want to consider stopping the evil , reading some philosophy, and then grabbing free software. its not mac specific, but much (maybe even most) of it will work on macosx. if you don't fancy all the work on compilations, fink can help. fink is a project to convert a lot of *nix programs to macosx.
