Another problem -- Netscape goes "hinky" -- iBook start openin apps
I have a G3 iBook 700 mhz with OS X.2 and Netscape 7 -- need to upgrade to 7.1.
Anyway, while on-line (DSL) I've had the computer--for lack of a more technical term--go "hinky" or freak out. Netscape (browser of choice for the moment) will close and lots of apps I've not thought about will open, close, run, etc. Mail will pop up, even though I never use it. iTunes will open and play a song even though I've not opened iTunes in 6 months. And, of course, whatever I had been working on will be lost.
I'm using Safari right now but I miss not having the web addresses I've typed in available as a drop down menu in the main address line.
Fun, fun, fun.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
