Updated my PowerBook hard drive again... was this a bargain?

Last weekend I bought the Hitachi 40 gig for $110. The 60's are comparitively a bit pricey, and the 80's are quite expensive. For comparison, when I bought my IBM 30 gig 2.5" hard drive two years ago, it was about $250, IIRC.

Also got a USB (1.1) mini stamped aluminum clamshell enclosure for my old 10GB Apple/Toshiba drive. I paid $10. I know I could have gotten USB 2 for just a little more, and FW for about 3x or 4x as much, but I figure I probably wouldn't even need the drive - ever - and just bought the case for just-in-case convenience. It's actually a nice, lightweight case, the smallest I've ever seen, and quite handy. Much smaller than my beloved Sarotech Cutie. I might get the FireWire version later when I can afford to waste a little more cash.

Also found an exact generic rip-off of the Kensington Flylight and a perfectly matching USB fan for less than $4 each at 298 Computer Centre in Wanchai.

Also found a handy retractable FireWire cable for $5

Edit: Fixed superhuge honkin' image and embedded it.
