mp3 converter?

Can anyone reccommend a converter to change wma files into mp3s? My friend just gave me a some wma files that I would really like to play in iTunes. \

    Audio Hijack comes to mind. You can stream them to AIFF or WAV and then use your preferred encoder on those...

    Just be aware that whenever you convert from one lossy compressed format to another you're going to lose sound quality.
