Same here. I'm using a 15" iMac, and moving the display around is addictive, since I'm always shifting in my chair, standing up, slouching, etc.
I've used a fixed 17" display, and liked it all right at the time. After using my iMac, I detest those 17" displays now. Almost as bad as staring down at a PowerBook's screen all day.
What Apple needs is a separate adjustable display like the iMac. That's part of what's keeping me from buying a G5 - I hate those fixed displays.

The current displays are stunning.
I bought a 20" Cinema. Its what made me want to purchase a G5.
But I know what you are coming from. Less adjustable displays make a computer worthless.
