PB 12" Keyboard Upgrade ?

Superficially the 12" and 15" keyboards appear to be the same.



What is the probability that one could buy a 15" illuminated keyboard ( might have to make friends with an Apple tech ) and drop it into a 12"?



Its hard to tell from the dissassembled photos whether the 12" keyboard uses the same cable and location as the 15".



I feel positive about it, because it makes sense for Apple to use the same keyboard in the 12" and the unilluminated 15", but whats different for the illuminated 15"???



The 12" is a definite buy for me, but the illuminated keyboard would be nice...

I think you're forgetting something. They illuminate when optical sensors detect a change in light. Besides there would be other connections like power. You'd have to activate it manually. It would be a pain, way more work than it's worth. I'm sure they next rev will have it, I'm surprised the current 12"s didn't get it, it's one of their best selling products, and one of their best period.
