Current Number of Songs on iTunes

What is the current tally of songs that are in the

iTunes library. I'm still reading articles about

iTunes that still list 200,000 titles in the library

& it kinda peeves me off.



Also, has there been any sales totals from Buymusic.com

yet? How long do you think that dog will last before

it goes down the toilet?

    Well, peeved off that you may be, Apple still lists 200,000 songs on the website. I have a hunch that when they announce iTunes for Windows late next month (?!?!?) the song count will be up to 300,000 songs. As for BuyMusic.com, there hasn't been a peep out of them since the big ballyhoo introduction. No news in this instance may be bad news for the venture.
