String a bunch of pictures together in a navigable format?



like a .pdf



bonus question: how does one make a .pdf?



*by best I mean fastest, easiest and preferably free.

    If using OS X, put all the pics in your pictures folder, then set the screensaver to use your pics folder, never crop the pics, and turnon a hot corner.



    Or try creating a quicktime movie



    Or write a web page that links from page to page in plain ol' html.



    Does this need to be portable? the html will work on any platform.



    If you want to make a PDF that automatically moves from pic to pic, you'll likely need a paid-for app, but check on Versiontracker.com or Macupdate.com



    Keynote does this very well.

    Well I don't really want to just make a slide show, I want to make something that I can navigate through, go back and forward, have a menu that links to all the different items.



    Webpage is out of the question for now I don't have the resources to do that currently.

    Hmmm. Try dragging all the pics to Preview in the Dock at one shot. They'll all open in one window, as thumbnails.



    Try printing it, then Save as PDF... does it save as one PDF, or many?
