Bill of Materials missing?

Hi everyone,

I just got some VPN software through my company and when I try to install it I get the error that the Bill of Materials is missing from this package. Help! How can I fix this?

    Never seen that... maybe you just have bad luck... i have never ever had a problem with any Mac since 1992, I have never had a problem with any Apple software, or AppleWorks, or anything else... i really dont know

    The error refers to a component of the installer package (the 'bom' file). Basically the installer you were given is partially damaged. Try re-downloading or ask the person who sent it to you to try again.

    I used to get this on the OSX install CD. I thought I was screwed, then I just wiped off the CD and all was better.
