OmniWeb 4.5 then incorporated these changes and is operating with the same core as Safari. It's still better tough. It really has a big nice list of features.
Defiant's explanation is right. As I recall, the OW5 HTML engine was completely abandoned.
OmniWeb 5 is still in development and, if Michael and Rick and Ken are to be believed, should have a number of new major features including the big one that most people miss: tabs.
