2 Gigs of RAM in PC100 PowerMac?

I've got a dual 500 G4, which according to Apple, can hold only 1.5 gigs of RAM. However, I've heard people (in these forums and elsewhere) say it's theoretically possible to upgrade to 2 gigs under OS X. What I'd like to know is if anyone has ACTUALLY done this? Has it worked? Thanks.

    No problem... I maxed my G4 Sawtooth (350 upgraded to 1Ghz) to 2 GB.
