one day old PB and bad pixels what do I do?

Ok I have a brand new 15 inch Powerbook that is one day old. It has 3 spots on the screen that are driving me nuts! My 12inch pb is perfect and I have never had one of the many IBM's and Dell I have bought do this. How does Apple handle this or should I take it back to the retailer?

    Call up Apple. Sounds like your over the limit for bad pixels. If they are in the middle you'll get a response.



    If you can don't let apple try to fix it. Tell them only a new one will be sufficient. Don't take "no" for an answer.

    I am thinking that I should just take it back to the retailer and have them deal with it.

    Hopefully if you bring it to the retailer, they'll give you a new unit and deal with Apple regarding the problematic one themselves. You can't expect to get that kind of service, but if you're lucky they'll do that just to minimize the hassle.

    That's the best idea. Just tell them you want a new one. Apple will give you more of a fight than they will.
