Mac Software

I recently bought a G4 and I was wondering what the Software Coupons/Proof of Purchase thiny was good for. What use do these coupons have? Could I get a discount on 10.3? Anything else?

I've bought several Macs and I've never used those coupons.

I think they are proof of purchase to get updates for the OS in CD format, instead of the downloads we're so used to getting.
They seem useless to me.

Yes I bought a PowerBook 12" and have these stored somewhere. Are they going to get me money off on Panther? I bought the PB a couple months ago.

No...Don't get your hopes up! You're going to have to pay for it like the rest of us.
