I need a 13 gig imac DV hard drive!!

If anyone upgraded their imac DV from a few years back and has the old WORKING drive I will buy it from you. Mine blew a circit on the control board and I need the data from the drive, hoping to swap the control boards, which has been done. I am a student and can't afford the data-recovery guys. Please help! Maybe links to where i can find one. I have been searching ebay and bought one that had the same problem as mine, so obviously it did not help. THANKS!!!
