It's happened twice already. Someone IMs me and then I click on the IM window that popped up behind my current application's window. Then Everything quits and I'm logged out of the OS. What would cause something like this?
If you were really short on RAM, like more than OS X should let you be, bringing that window to the front would make the window manager try to use RAM that it wouldn't have, then it's try to give an error, which would try to use more RAM. If this happened it would crash the SystemUIServer, it would start itself back up, and you would be back at the login screen. I've only heard of this happening to two people before, and I really doubt it could happen from Fire.
