New Century Schoolbook
I guess I was a little too anxious to move away from OS 9 (which has been undisturbed on my HD for months.)
I casually deleted the OS 9 system folder, and then realized "hey, I'm missing a few fonts" Duh.
I need the New Century Schoolbook family. Does anyone know of an inexpensive Fonts package for OS X?
My search on the net has found that I can buy the font for USD $99., but I think that's way too much for just one font family.
I'm thinking of something like the old Adobe Plus Pack, which I still have and contains New Century Schoolbook. Unfortunately, I no longer have a floppy drive!

searching "century" or "schoolbook" on their site reveals plenty of lookalikes,
and some value packs that may come close to what you're looking for
alternatively, you might find a similar enough free font in some of the sites linked here
