In the office today, we found this interesting web site. Some band that plays old Nintendo tunes. I actually remembered some of these tunes. Then we blasted the Megaman 2 music for hours. Surprisingly good stuff.

Enjoy. There are also some Contra and Castlevania tunes. . . . and yeah, it's an office full of engineers.

If you like video game music, check out this streaming radio station:

    It will play in iTunes.

Some old stuff, some new stuff. It's pretty good if you like video game soundtracks.

I don't really like video game music that much, but it is pretty cool when it's being played by a three piece rock band, ala the MP3.

Damn, I thought it was awesome that my band is putting together a song with a guitar riff based loosely on the music in part of River City Ransom. These guys rule.

This really makes me want to get a hold of Megaman 2 again. . . The "Hot Man" level theme music is too cool in twin guitar form. On another note, the Megaman series for NES supposedly pushed the NES to it's 8bit limits.

Reminds me how much I prefer assembler over high level stuff like C. . . especially with 8bit chips. You'd be surprised how much you can do with 16k of program memory.
