No more 8500 for mac! discontinued

This is hard to find now.



I have a dual 867 Mirror drive and wanted to upgrade the stock card in there now.



Is the 8500 still a damn good card to upgrade to?

    The stock card in the dual 867 is a 32 MB GeForce 4MX. A Radeon 8500 would be an upgrade (double the VRAM, and a bit faster), but I don't think it would be enough of an upgrade to justify the cost. If you want to upgrade, go for top of the line - Radeon 9700/9800 or GeForce 4 Titanium.
