Installing an Airport Card into a CRT iMac

I finally settled on a G4 iBook over the 12" Powerbook. Now I want to wifi it all together. I can pick up a cheapish airport card on ebay, but I have seen airport adapter cards on sale for slot loading iMacs. I have had a poke around inside the iMac and I certinaly don't seem to have the adapter card already installed - So, do I need one, or does the airport card just slot straight in?

    You need an adapter. A bare card won't fit into a CRT iMac.

    That's interesting. Both of my CRT iMacs had the adapter already installed. I assumed they came with the adapter cards.
