New iBook fan noise and CD burning speed questions

Two things that annoyed me about my old iBook 800 was that the fan would come on alot (even while just surfing the net) and that I couldn't burn a CD at faster than 4x speed.



Can someone with one of the new iBook G4's comment on these issues?



Does the 14" run cooler than the 12"?



I'm thinking of replacing my old Pismo with a 14"...
