how do i let people put stuff in my .mac public folder?

how do i let someone upload to my .mac public folder if possible

    Tell them to get the iDisk utility from apple. If they are running OS X or Win XP, it's easy as pie. For other OS's there are directions on mac.com. Click on the iDisk button on the left.

    I think there used to be a drop box folder, but it was tossed out when .Mac came in.

    Go to .mac in sys prefs and enable read/write on your public folder, by default its read only.

    The people you want to let upload to it can use either the idisk util or an ftp client to access the public folder. You can also set a password so only the people you give the password too can write to it.
