I've seen this option in the Airport menuling, just wondering what it does and if I should be using it or not. Thanks.

Pros:
better signal when used with other 2.4-2.5 GHz devices in proximity (microwaves, cordless phones, etc.)
Cons:
slower throughput
decreased range
Only use it if your microwave or whatever is causing your AirPort signal to drop-out.
