Although there is one major thing they shouldn't have done. The update placed Safari back into the Dock, even when I didn't had it in there before. Safari is the only thing that got added again. Everything else stayed the same in my Dock.
This is very bad behavior. Almost like Microsoft making IE the forced standard.
In column view.. when I preview an audio file (in my case). I open up a new Finder window.. same column view. When I click on an item, it select two or more items for me.
I think it's safe to say this was a "cover our ass and fast!" release to remedy the FW and FileVault problems (primarily). I read somewhere that Apple had some major tweakage scheduled for one of the early point releases, so maybe 10.3.2 will bring those interface fixes within the next 30 days or so.
So who's going to be the FileVault guinea pig? I already did my turn with 10.3, so I'm not going to be first with 10.3.1
Anyone...class...anyone?
Well my problem with FileVault (which is still there) is that every other time in login the computer creates a new home directory for me. The old one is still there, the OS just doesn't use it. Logging out and then back in fixes the problem... until the next time I log in. Weird.

Everything seems fine for the moment.

I heard you have to "go offline" then back online in Mail.app to regain outgoing mail function... not sure if it's true.... any other issues?

Huh...what's weird is that I had problems sending mail shortly after the upgrade. I wonder if that was it..

Huh? It works here in safari and the finder (but it counts the desktop as one of the windows. Did it always do this?). I haven't tried iChat.

Yup. I mailed Apple about that soon after 10.1's release, and their response was "Works as expected, that's a feature."
I've never agreed, but hey. What can you do.

Is there a list of fixes in the patch installed with the patch or somewhere on Apple's website?
