AAC encoding- optimised for velocity engine...?
I got my iBook G4 2 weeks ago, and noticed a small difference in the itunes encoding preferences:
it says 128kbps stereo, optimised for velocity engine
what does that mean?
is the encoding quality any different or does it mean it's just faster encoding when you have velocity engine?

The latter. Unless I'm horribly mistaken, it means that AltiVec speeds up the encoding process.
