I'm using Final Cut Express.

Can I get the upgrade to Final Cut Pro 4?

    Yes. You can buy an upgrade to Final Cut Pro 4 for $699.

    It says $399 at the Apple website..

    The $399 upgrade is if you have a prior version of Final Cut Express Pro (1,2, or 3). The upgrade price from Express to Pro is $699.
