Where are the iBook G4 benchmarks?

I'm thinking of buying one of those new ibooks soon, but I'm wondering if it will be worth it, so I'm looking for some benchmarks pitting my current computer (an iBook 600) against the 1 GHz model (and the 933 MHz model). I've noted that Barefeats shows some benching, but those are all relative to the Powerbooks. Is there another source somewhere? It has been a couple of weeks now, hasn't it?



Also, at the risk of asking for redundant info: could some of the new owners of these ibooks share their experiences wrt to overall performance, monitor (brightness/sharpness), maybe contrasted with your previous/other computers (G3 ibooks in particular)?

    Actually, over at the macnn.com forums, there is quite a bit of discussion along those very lines in iBook section of the boards.



    Lots of "real life" experiences, comments, likes/dislikes, photos, etc.
