My PowerBook won't Boot!

After installing the new Bluetooth update my 12" (old version) PowerBook G4 won't boot up. I have the bootprocess so that the UNIX text comes up, this shows the early boot as normal but when it gets past that and starts to bring the GUI, it gets stuck with a blue dekstop and a spinning beachball.



Currently i'm in Disk Utility from a startup CD checking the disk, but any suggestions?

    zapped the PRAM, now it's OK
