Configuring and Using LDAP
I was wondering if anyone has instructions on how to setup, start, configure and use the LDAP server in OS X. I am running the 10.2.8 client, but I think the software is included on the system. In addition, I am running a demo of the Kerio mailserver program that also has LDAP support.
What I would like to do is maintain a centralized directory of users and contacts. Users that are users of the system, and a list of contacts which resembles what I currently have in Entourage. I would like to access the central directory via LDAP with Entourage, Address Book, Mail and other program. I would also like to know how to create multiple directories and how to configure them uniquely for different applications. Quite an order, but a reference or actual directions would be appreciated.
Prefer response to my e-mail too, not just the Forum. I don't come much.

I just got Panther running on my Beige G3 using XpostFacto. I'll give it a try.
