Security flaw in Linux software

I'm not sure if this has any relevance to UNIX as a whole or OS X in particular, but even this "serious" Linux flaw doesn't sound nearly as bad as MS' "moderate" flaws. I guess when it comes down to it, it seems your system is only as secure as your least secure user password. That reminds me... it's time to change the password on my server.
