I'm about to invest in some additional RAM for my G5.
Is there any evidence to suggest that RAM prices will drop after Christmas, like they sometimes do? Does anyone know if there is an over-supply again this year?
DDR-RAM is dropping in price while the SD-RAM price is rising and it's now more expensive than DDR-RAM
Yeah, I just remember paying £33 per 512MB stick (PC-133) about a year and a half ago from Crucial, and now they want £64 per stick (PC-3200). I don't know if it's realistic to expect DDR-RAM prices to ever be as cheap as SD-RAM was? Hopefully they'll be an over supply again this year and the prices will fall again mid-January.
Older standards of memory always seem to rise in price as they near the end of their lives - guess it's supply and demand!

I just bought 512 MO so-dimm for my powerbook 17, and they told me that the prize was lower than the one who was announced in their web-site.
