I recently dropped the white power adapter for my 12" PowerBook onto a hard floor. How durable is it? Could I have damaged it? I don't want to plug it in, and fry my computer...

My power adapter has takes some goodly drops in it's time. The round thing is practically rock solid. The weakest part in it are the cables. I went through 2 of them because the wires broke and stated to short.

I knock mine around all of the time. I've had two die on me (a common problem), but it hasn't hurt the machine itself. I say go ahead and use it, but I'm not responsible for anything that happens as a result. Hey, that kind of thing would get fixed under applecare anyway.

You should be fine. There should be no reason that plugging it in could cause any damage even if the power adapter was fried.

Should be fine and, as giant mentioned, Applecare should take care of it if it isn't.
