In the local papers classifieds this morning there was an 800mhz emac
for $400.00. I called, went and looked at it and purchased it for $375.00.
It has a 40GB HD, cd-rom, and 640 mb ram. It had all the restore cd's and was very clean. This guy had purchased it new from a local reseller on 8-26-03!! The receipt was in the cd booklet.
Anyway , I am happy as a priest at boys camp and just started this thread to boast so "YEAH FOR ME"
My wife and kids should really appreciate the upgrade from the 4 year old 400mhz imac they have been using, and right now CCC is cloning the old to new so hopefully the switch goes smoothly.

For comparison, I just sold a 700MHz G3 iMac for almost $800 US.
So yeah, you got the slightly better deal.
