Is it possible to change the shortname of my account?

This is my first time with OS X and I accidentally set my login name as my full name. Next thing I know I have to look at "michaelheilemann" in the Finder all the time



Is it possible to change it somehow? Without loosing data of course

    Possible? Yes. Easy? No.



    And, I'm going to have to let someone else tell you the how, I'm getting kicked off the boat.

    Beware it is not trivial. Making a whole new account may be easier.
