powerbook

Hi.

I am getting a 17inch powerbook sent to New Zealand, because it is much much cheaper than buying in NZ.

I thought i'd order online from APPLE ,get it sent to a friend in Denver, then he sends to me.

NEW ZEALAND is a PAL system.

Can anyone advise me of any possible things that could vex me over this arrangement....applecare OK?

Sure. Power adaptor will differ, but what else is there?

Much appreciated

power plug may look different, but all apples work 100 (110?) - 240 v, no prob for that. also any region dvds (when you first insert the dvd, it chooses the region). but then it will still be fine with both NTSC and PAL.

the only possible problem i can think is a) the mail may fsck your packet. at least it's not italian mail .. well, use fedex or similar more affidable thing, pay for insurance.. and b) home that the customs in NZ don't want to add a high tax for your "gift" etc.

    hey, cograts for PB
