DVD-RW Superdrive support?

Got a few DVD-RW discs today at a bargain and was wondering if I can use them? (write and re-write).

I believe that Apple have disabled RW support on their Superdrives though in System Profiler the drive is listed as having "RW" capability and I'm hoping there is a way round this??



iMac G4 800Mhz

OS 10.2

Superdrive = Pioneer DVD-RW / DVR-104 - Rev. A227



Anyone have more info or help?

    Pretty sure you can use DVD rewritables. In Disk copy you have the option to erase DVD-RW discs. Otherwise with a program like toast I'm pretty sure you can use them.
