I just got a kick of it - thought I'd share it. Wonder if the PC version has the same mistake:

There's a typo in your thread title too. Typos happen; I just wish this was the extent of Microsoft's software flaws.

What do you have to do for that to come up? If I can find out, I'll see if it happens on a PC

Don't mess with me Meester. I've had a crummy year.

Open an Excel Document. Take 3 numbers, and put them in 3 different cells. Create a formula that adds two of the numbers, and puts the answer in a cell where there the third number is (as opposed to a blank cell).

Note resulting dialog box, and then post an apology, meester.

Hope you're having a better year than me.

It's only 3 days old. You have plenty of time to regroup.

I don't use Excel too often. Can you tell me exactly what to type and where, then I'll get a PC screenshot if it has the same mistake

Just tryed it on office pro 2003 on xp pro and no error occured, it over wrote the last box with no warning, gee at least the apple version warns you in a misspelled way. better than no warning at all

mac wins again on user-friendlyness but wtf is new?

Yeah, I told it to add A1+A2 and put the answer in A3, and it just automatically put in the answer
