Will Apple Exchange PB15" for G5?

Ok I have my 2-3 Month old PB 15" (1.25 w SuperDrive), and it is starting to develop a shaded area in the middle of the screen for the second time. What do you think the chances are of me getting AppleCare to exchange my PB for a G5?



Purchase cost of PB15 with AppleCare = £2,278

Purchase cost of Dual G5 2Ghz = £2,299



I think £21 is a very reasonable compensation for Apple to lose out on considering...

    Edit: Crap...read your post wrong. But I don't think it will happen. You can try, but I really doubt it.

    They might offer you a refund that you could use to buy a G5...

    A refund would be acceptable. And from a business point of view, if the G5 is problem free, I am more likely to spend MORE money with apple on upgrades on the G5.
