well i came across some stuff about how they changed agency's or something a while back. plus, i've only been a mac user for about 2.5-3 years, so i didnt have any previous knowledge to go off of.
Several times a decade, agencies merge or go under.
It's unusual for a company to have the same agency for so many years. Some think Apple needs a change as their print and tv ads have not helped to increase market share. In many ways the "Think Different" campaign alienated a lot of potential buyers. Telling people they are thinking wrong is no way to appeal to them. Telling them there is something better and then showing why (which Apple never does it seems) would be better in my opinon.
