iDVD 4 Lack of *Snappiness*®???

I've noticed that on my 1.25Ghz 15" Albook w/ 512MB RAM and Panther, iDVD takes a while to do...well, pretty much everything.



Starting up especially. It literally takes about 20 seconds for a window to pop up. When changing between themes, it takes up to 10 seconds to switch them.



Is anybody else noticing this? It seems like this version is slower and less responsive than earlier versions.

    Same here. Haven't seen the spinning beach ball for awhile. As fast as iPhoto is, iDVD is slow.
