    Not yet.

I think maine should start up their own computer company and sell knock off laptops to school districts around the country.

I moved this into GD since it's more tech-related than anything AO.

    (Hope I did this right)

I was just trying to inject some decaffeinated calm into AO "Hey, look! Maine's going to buy some more ibooks!" Then we could all agree that this was a good thing and from this, a New Order could emerge.

So my thread gets moved to GD, aka 'dullsville'?. This, THIS is the thanks that I get? Brutal moderator! Brutal moderator!

This thread too, shall sink like a stone....

I remember I went up to Portland for the Little Feat / Grateful Dead shows back in '88. On July 1st, it snowed 3 inches!!! My friends and I were running around in our shorts starting snowball fights. It was almost surreal.

    Crazy?

    You'll fit in just fine.

You will, of course, have to re-learn how to talk (loss of 'r' s is only the beginning).

"Pahked my cah in thuh friggin' gahradj it was so friggin' cold." The literary classic "M*A*S*H* goes to Maine" is a good beginners text.

Standing astride Mount Katahdin, watching Cessnas flying below you does sorta make up for the snow, though. Best of luck. Move somewhere close to a college if you want to talk to people (who'll talk back to you).
