making back up of pb restore dvd

Hi everyone , im trying to find out how i can make a back up of my restore dvd , im leaving on a trip and dont wanna risk loosing or damaging my original restore dvd ive tried making one but it doesnt boot from the dvd i copied, can anyone help me on making a working copy of my restore dvd thanx any help apreciated?????
