Macs at UMich

What is using a Mac at University of Michigan like? I am headed there next year? From what I have read, the whole thing is very easy to set up and stuff, right?

    As far as Mac faring goes, I can't say with any authority. I do, however, know that Macs are very well received down here in sunny Southern Cal.

    I don't have too much trouble using my Mac at UofM. I mostly stick to the hospital though. The med school library has Macs. Like all other places they did that disastrous transition to NT 4 so many years ago. So the place is slanted PeeCee and is accepting to Macs.





    What Major are you in?

    I am thinking about something inside Film and Video.



    (yeah, i realize that this is in the wrong place, but once I started typing that post and looked at the bread trail, oh my, there was no Turning BACK!)

    Macs are pretty well supported at UMich. You should have no problems.
