I'd like to see the study - it very well could be that other behaviors are also associated with having oral sex, and those other behaviors are what caused the cancer.
High consumptions of alcohol and cigarettes are estimated to cause 75-90 percent of all cases of oral cancer. The combination of tobacco smoke and alcohol are thought to produce high levels of cancer causing agents.
It's not exactly junk science, but you just know journalists jump at the chance to write a "_______ Causes Cancer" headline.
i.e. Mexico City Causes Cancer. Um, no, the high levels of carbon monoxide and other toxins in the smog of the air over and around Mexico City is what'll kill ya.
