i know PowerSchool has gone through some harrowing times over the past few years, and seemed to be a real smoke-and-mirrors company that snookered apple into buying it on promises and half-truths. but seeing that it may get a significant upgrade, and use SQL as its backbone instead of 4D has got to be good news, right?



all in all, apple MUST put out a strong competitor to Blackboard. seriously, someone puts on a presentation for Blackboard and the teachers and school administrators swoon like it's elvis or something. my wife's school runs on Bb, and if it's not "down for the afternoon," it's just not that impressive. i mean, it's a database with a web front end. you would think apple could make significant strides here for features, interface, and couple with eMac deployments, a heck of a package for both K-12 and universities.
