Part of the Digital Hub

I grabbed this from the theApplecollection.com website.

Would't this product make a great addition to the digital hub. i wish the iPod had a regular FM radio in it as well. Also 802.11g. That would make this complete.

I'm still totally againts the FM tuner built into an iPod. To me, it defeats the purpose of having a personal MP3 player (not to meniton it would change the overall size and functionality of the iPod - a recent announcement from Sony comes to mind).

I'm all for radio in the iPod. Only not the conventional kind.

Internet radio is the way to go. The only problem is, the transmission. Maybe if they could give cell phones transmitters extended bandwidth, then you'd be able to get high speed internet reception and your favorite internet stations on the go.

no apple should go digital am and digital fm, be the first kid on the block...or the first house in the subdevision, since radio, like tv will go digital in the next 6-10 years, apple should be there early, and patent the hell out of it and make tons of $$$ on the patent licenses for minidigi-am/fm tuners
