Does anyone have any idea what type of rule can be created in MAIL to automatically reply to an email indicating to them that the email may possibly not be viewed due to no subject line?

I have the text and everything ready, but when I go to make the rule "subject line..contains...and then I leave it blank, Mail wont let me make that rule cause it's not completed.

thanks

I am afraid you have to resort to AppleScript. From scripts you can access the message subject and make Mail reply. I'm sorry I don't have time right now to write the script, but you should get the idea. A standard place for them is ~/Library/Scripts/Mail Scripts.

Well I must say took a while to get a reply but I'm very happy to get one no matter what it is. I'm just getting tird of emails on the mac that have no jubject lines. I will look into scripting then and see what I can come up with.

    thanks, much appreciated.
